Fairly Odd Parents is a TV series on the Nickelodeon channel that revolves around the life of a 10 year old buck-toothed boy named Timmy Turner who lives with his fairy godparents. Since its first broadcast in 2001 it has rose steeply in popularity having earned a top position, only second to Sponge Bob Square Pants as the most watched show on the channel. It appeals to kids of all ages and some adults to but finds a good majority of its following in the age group of 8-12 years.

The protagonist of Fairly Odd Parents, Timmy Turner is a slightly awkward kid who lived quite a miserable life in Dimmsdale, dealing with absentee parents and a mean teenage baby sitter when blessing came in the disguise of fairy godparents, Wanda and Cosmo. Suddenly he has their magical powers to depend on for granting him his wild wishes. O course he never learns despite repeatedly getting into trouble that he has to be very careful what he wishes for as the results are often disastrous. But that’s where all the fun is in the show. Fans will recall some hilarious episodes like when Timmy made several clones of himself.

Being so incredibly popular at the moment Fairly Odd Parents sure does make a good theme for a kids’ party. Planning it should not be too hard too. The flavor of the evening should be that of magic.
